Final Thought

It was great to be exposed to all the tools/modes for collaboration and networking that are available today. Going through 23 Things definitely opened new windows for me and helped me think in a new way. The only “downer “about the whole thing for me was that I often felt overwhelmed with the amount of information and/or options available. Thank you all. Take care of yourself, and each other.

Big Ideas

UCaPP:

Regardless of our feelings, opinions, and perspectives technological era is here and it is a fact we can't ignore. As every other era, it brings us some things that we like and some that we don't.
Mostly, the things we can't understand are the ones we don't like and that we try to reject.
However, solution is to do exactly opposite. We need to embrace and become part of the UCaPP generation. We need to get connected and close to each other. Now, how close and how connected...it's up to each one of use.

4 C's:

Well, PYP is "connecting" to this concept in many ways but I think that this is more applicable not only to "adult educators" but "adult students" as well. I agree that "new era" we're in requires new approach to education but at our "elementary" level we still need to deal with those elementary skills to get our students ready to deal with 4C's later on in their education/life.
